Version without music: https://youtu.be/2kiyTjKNooE Hello friends! In this video, you'll learn the most essential stitch in knitting: the knit stitch. This is the part that most people think of as "knitting" or "learning how to knit," and they're right! The knit stitch (and other stitches) make up 99% of your work when you knit. Because this is the most important skill in knitting, I want to walk you through each step nice and slow so you can master it one step at a time. This video may be 10 minutes long, but can I be honest with you? It took me 10 YEARS to learn how to knit. If you're having a hard time learning, or you just can't seem to get it right, it's okay! Over time, it will become easier and feel more natural to you. Be patient with yourself, take breaks when you need to, and have fun with it! I believe in you, and I know you can do it! Time stamps: 0:54 Setting up 1:27 In through the front door 3:06 Around the back 4:41 Through the window 5:33 Off jumps Jack 6:06 Run through 8:19 Mistakes Because this video is made for children, the comments have been turned off. I didn't know this at the time of filming, so if you'd like to share your answer to the question or need help with your knitting, you can ask a grownup and comment on Instagram or Facebook.
