Learn all about Igneous rocks which are produced from molten rock. Igneous rocks can be divided into two major types, intrusive and extrusive. Intrusive rocks are formed inside the Earth from molten rock. Intrusive rocks can have large crystals and a coarse texture. Extrusive rocks are formed from lava and will have small crystals and a fine texture. I also show examples of igneous rocks including, obsidian, basalt, and rhyolite.
