Have fun learning about how to make compound words. A compound word is made when two words are joined to form a new word. I show and say the first word and then show and say the second word. We put both words together to form a new compound word. This is great practice for Pre-kindergarten and kindergarten classes who are beginning to build the foundational language skills that today’s elementary school curriculum requires.
