Gloves That Translate Sign Language Into Speech

University of Washington undergrads Tommy Pryor and Navid Azodi have created talking gloves technology to help the deaf and mute communicate with the hearing world. The prototype -- called SignAloud -- won a $10,000 prize from the Lemelson-MIT program, which celebrates outstanding inventors.
