What's Inside a Natural Hive? | Beekeeping with Maddie #14

** A couple of corrections below **. A few years ago we captured a swarm of bees and put them inside a Natural Hive (A hive that simulates a tree trunk). The bees have since left but we have NEVER OPENED IT! So we decided to open the hive up and see what was inside!!! *Thanks to viewers for pointing out it is the wax moth larvae that eat through the wax (not the moths) and it would have been the bees not the moths that have completely flattened the wax frames! On leaving a hive sometimes the bees will clear out their own wax and taking it with them! There are a couple of mysteries in this video so please let us know in the comments what you think might be happening! Subscribe for more: http://bit.ly/1kPjJZL Keep in Touch!
