Along the border between North Dakota and Manitoba, groups will find the International Peace Garden, an oasis of beauty nestled in the Turtle Mountains, as much a celebration of peace as natural beauty. The 2,339-acre site spans the border between Dunseith, N.D., and Boissevian, Manitoba. It was built in 1932 as a symbol of freedom and has expanded in the ensuing decades.
