On December 4th at 4:30pm at Regent College, Richard Austin will be performing a selection of poetry by the world-renowned English poet Gerard Manley Hopkins. A trained actor, Austin has devoted is life to memorizing and performing the poetry of Hopkins, giving life, voice and breath to the words Hopkins so carefully wrote. In 2003, Austin released a CD recording of Hopkins poetry, which will be available for purchase at the Regent College bookstore. This poetry reading coincides with the Regent College course "World as Word: The Incarnational Poetry of Gerard Manley Hopkins" which is taught by Interdisciplinary Professor Dr. Loren Wilkinson.
