Gifted children have unique needs. SENG (Supporting Emotional Needs of the Gifted) understands these needs. Gifted children can be "all ages at once". Gifted over-excitabilities and deep sensitivities may lead a gifted child to think far too early about profound issues of death, war, and unfairness, inequality -- all of which can often make a gifted child feel isolated from age-peers.
