In this video, strengthen your superpowers of focus and calm by taking slow deep breaths as you trace the outline of your hand with your pointer finger. Try playing this mindful game when you feel nervous or upset, or when you want to cool down, relax, and focus your attention. The video begins deep in the rainforest with a nervous Tarsier who wants to breathe to calm down. To play this mindful game, you’ll follow the Tarsier’s lead and listen to the narrator as she guides the activity. You will begin by opening one hand all the way, stretching your fingers out like a star. Using the pointer finger on your other hand, trace the outline of the hand that’s stretched out like a star. Breathe in as you trace up your fingers, and breathe out as you trace down your fingers. You can begin by tracing your pointer finger, pausing at the top, and moving to your middle finger, pausing at the top, then your ring finger, pausing at the top, and finally your pinky finger.
