The Monarch migration season is upon us. Hopefully this little Monarch caterpillar, which is just hatching from its egg, will successfully emerge as an adult and make the long journey to Mexico. This video was made by hand-holding my camera against the microscope eyepiece. A section fades to black while I had to zoom the microscope out, but keep watching till the end.
